Q: "How much will I have to be involved in the finances of my career?"

A: As much, or as little as you like.  MEM is totally customizable to your needs and you can add or remove services when the need arises.

Q:  Will I be paying on a per hour basis or a percentage of my revenue?

A:  Either or and in certain cases both.  Financial Services and Consulting are billed by the hour or at a predermined flat rate, depending on the circumstances and/or the scope of work.  Management Services are billed at a predermined percentage of gross revenue, which is standard in the industry.

Q:  "Will I have to sign any contracts with MEM?"

A:  Yes.  For the protection of both parties you will sign an "Engagement" for financial and consulting services that can be cancelled anytime with 30 days notice.  An Engagement is required by insurance companies as it outlines the responsibilities of both parties and secures your rate for a negotiated period of time.  Management Contracts outline the responsibilities of both parties, as well as solidifies the percentage that has been negotiated for all income streams.  These two contracts are very standard in this industry.

Q:  "How do we share financial information?"

A:  In this day and age, there are so many different ways of sharing information, some more safely than others.  There are many platforms to share information with us such as Google Drive, LogMeIn, DropBox, Fax, Email, Online Banking and good ol' snail mail.

Q:  "Will my information be kept safely secured against identity theft?"

A:  While none of us really have control over the web or the mail service, we at MEM take your security really seriously.  We own our own Servers and contract a highly trained I.T. Service which monitors our entire network 24/7.  MEM is 99% paperless and all records, incoming mail and client correspondence is scanned into digital format which is then saved on our firewall protected server and the originals are shredded immediately.  We always advise our clients to use our own Secure Client Portal when sharing documents over the web.
